The challenge
TruckersReport.com, a U.S.-based company focused on recruiting truck drivers, wanted to diversify its offering and build a product tailored to its core audience. While they had ideas, they lacked clarity on what direction would truly resonate with truckers.
To find that clarity, SNXL stepped in to lead:
Qualitative and quantitative user research
Targeted interviews and field insights
Concept ideation and validation through direct user testing
The findings were clear: truckers didn’t need swag or branded gear. What they desperately needed was a navigation solution built specifically for them—one that would finally replace the clunky patchwork of general-purpose GPS apps and physical maps.

The solution
We designed Hammer, a specialized navigation app available on iOS and Android, built around the real-world needs of long-haul drivers. It includes:
Accurate, truck-specific routing
Real-time parking availability
Legal route compliance (tunnel heights, bridge weights, restricted roads)
Offline functionality for remote areas
Integrated features for planning refueling and break stops
All wrapped in a clean, intuitive UX developed through continuous feedback and real-world testing.
What sets Hammer apart is that it isn’t just another GPS tool — it’s a daily companion for truckers, delivering confidence, efficiency, and peace of mind on the road.
The Result: A Game-Changer for Drivers — and the Business
In just a few months post-launch, Hammer reached over 180,000 active monthly users, representing a staggering 15% of U.S. truckers.
While the app is free for users, it introduced a monetization model that aligns with TruckersReport’s business. More importantly, it became a high-impact communication channel that feeds directly into the company’s core recruitment operations.
SNXL helped TruckersReport.com:
Build a product that drivers genuinely love
Strengthen brand loyalty through utility and trust
Unlock new business value through smart product strategy
A true win-win: for drivers on the road, and for a business ready to grow in a whole new way.
